Skin cancer is a type that occurs the patches on the body, where the condition is the growth of abnormal skin cells which in case most often cancer where it gets the form on the skin which is exposed to the sun at the most. However, the condition of this is a much common type where this form of cancer of the skin are also, in general, occurred on your skin which in the condition is not ordinarily where the state is not exposed to sunlight in major.

There are three major types of skin cancer which include:

  • Basal cell carcinoma
  • Squamous cell carcinoma
  • Melanoma.

The skin cancer which can cause hard situation but in general you can also reduce your risk of the criticalness of skin cancer by the way of avoiding or reducing the exposure to much radiation of ultraviolet (UV). While in the case by checking your skin for a change of suspicious also it can help to detect your type of skin cancer at its cause as well as with its earliest stages. In an earlier detection of this condition in which the skin cancer also helps to get in treated which also gives you the highest chances for getting a successful skin cancer treatment as well.

Causes of Skin Cancer

Skin cancer occurs when errors (mutations) occur in the DNA of skin cells. The mutations cause the cells to grow out of control and form a mass of cancer cells.

Cells involved in skin cancer

Skin cancer is the type of condition in which it forms on your skin, where it first begins on your skin’s top layer, which is the epidermis layer. The epidermis layer is the top layer on the skin which is also much thin layer that also provides a protective shield of cover on your skin cells that on your body to protect continually sheds. The epidermis also contains three main types of cells:

  • Squamous cells which lie just below the outer layered surface and function as the skin's inner lining.
  • Basal cells, which also produce to develop a new skin cell, sit beneath the squamous cells.
  • Melanocytes also produce cells of melanin, the pigment in a case where it gives a normal skin colour, which is located in the lower part of your layer of the epidermis. Melanocytes also produce more level of melanin of cells when you're exposed to the sun to help to protect your skin and the deeper layers of your skin.
