The human digestive system plays the most important function in the human body, it's a joint connection of various different organs connected with it, which in order to perform regular digestive activities. The human digestive system normally consists of the gastrointestinal tract plus the accessory organs of digestion which is the tongue, salivary glands, pancreas, liver, and gallbladder.

For digestion of the substances, it basically involves the breakdown of food in order to make it smaller and smaller components or the part for the easier digestion to take place in the body, which is the process where until they can be absorbed completely and also it widely assimilated into the body. The actual process of digestion in the human digestive system has three parts of stages which is: the cephalic phase, the gastric phase, and the intestinal phase.

Whereas the first stage, the cephalic phase of digestion, which in stage first begins with gastric secretions in response of action to the eye visions and the smell of food. This condition of the stage includes the proper mechanical process of a complete breakdown of food by chewing activity, and also the chemical substance breakdown by the enzymes of digestive, which the process are much normally that takes place in the mouth.

The human digestive system consists of several different organs and other major parts of components which are majorly involved in the processing of digestion of food and substances. The organs called accessory digestive organs are said to be the liver, the gall bladder and also the pancreas. While the digestive parts are much unique in doing their functions much effectively, there involve several various components like the mouth, salivary glands, tongue, teeth and epiglottis..

While the largest present structure of the digestive system is the tract which is called the gastrointestinal tract. In which it starts at the section of the mouth and which ends at the anus with the connection of a huge network, which in an area covering a distance of about more than nine metres.

While the largest part of the GI tract is present in the colon or in the large intestine which is known to be the largest organ. In where the fluid or water is much absorbed clearly in the area, in the place here and the remaining material of waste element or the matter is stored prior to the defecation. While in most of the digestion of food in which in normal it takes place in the organ of the small intestine in the body.
