Herpes is a severe condition that usually occurs when the individual gets infected with the virus name called herpes simplex virus (HSV). It usually first appears to cause sores or blisters state to get formed on the inner or around the side of mouth or genitals, are the major symptoms of this conditions there have other related signs so many.
There are two types of HSV:
- HSV-1 causes oral herpes, which first usually affects the mouthparts and the surrounding skin.
- HSV-2 causes genital herpes, which is transmitted sexually.
If people are affected with this condition of HSV infection, then it is permanent like it will have it for the rest of their life and affect them, while some people have never developed any types of symptoms for the infection. If the symptoms cause to appear, then they reflect any one of the types of HSV.
The research and studies are gone through an extreme level to find out the proper results for the problems but the solution wasn’t found there is no cure for the person who is infected with the herpes virus, but there have various treatments which will help to manage and reduce the symptoms and also reduce the likelihood of them recurring in the body.
Symptoms and Signs of Herpes
The infected person may have symptoms of herpes with the first experience is tingling, burning, or itching then also notice the formation of sores or blisters which usually form around the mouth or genitals.
Symptoms tend to develop 2–15 days after exposure to the virus.
Oral herpes usually appears to cause blisters, sometimes also called fever sores or cold sores, to develop inner side or around the lips and mouth area. But sometimes these formations of blisters occur elsewhere on the face or on the tongue, and also on parts of the area on the skin which is rarer.
The sores which occurred usually last for 2–3 weeks.
These sores usually tend to develop around or inside the vagina, penis, buttocks, or anus, though they usually appear to form on any other areas of skin. Herpes condition can also cause slight pain over the area when urinating and changes in vaginal discharge.
The first time a person is affected by the condition, then it may last 2–6 weeks.
Causes of HSV
The virus of HSV if its present on the skin, has the ability to move and spread accurately as it passes easily from person to person through direct contact with the moist skin of the mouth and genitals, including the other parts as well.
The HSV virus may not spread through direct contact with other areas of the skin and the eyes respectively.
