Hormones are much considered to play a part at every major part of the body and its function, which is by including a main factor is growth. If the person or the body fails to process or does not produce sufficient or enough, a person may need to have injections of growth hormone

Whereas several glands in our body which usually produce hormones, but also the state of health which experts consider the pituitary gland was to be the master of control gland. While in fraction it only does it to control the other glands in major, but it also makes the hormone that also triggers the growth.

In children

The problems of growth may appear in time or the age it depends on, for example, if your children are smaller than their classmates and growing less than 2 inches a year.

In adults

In an adult, the condition of this problems where have a lack of growth hormone is much often due to the damage to the hormone producing gland which is pituitary gland, which in result also may be permanent. The worsening or damage in the state would have to have occurred in childhood or adulthood.

Other causes include:
  • radiation therapy
  • a head injury
  • infections, such as meningitis

The major problems in the pituitary with the production of growth hormone are commonly due to a pituitary tumour
